Policies

At ZenKay, we strive to provide exceptional service and ensure your satisfaction. To help us maintain high standards, we kindly ask that you familiarise yourself with our Privacy, Refund and Cancellation Policy. We understand that life presents unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from attending your appointment, we require a minimum 24 business hours’ notice if you no longer require your appointment time. It is your responsibility to inform us if you cannot attend once you have scheduled your appointment OR if you no longer need the entire appointment duration.  You will receive a email reminder at 5 days then a follow on text the day before as another reminder. Please arrive on time to your treatment and remember that we have online booking that is available 24/7 so the earlier we are notified of any changes to your appointment the more chance we may be able to fill the time-slot.

Booking Deposits

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure all appointments: A gift card may be used as your booking deposit. Your deposit will be held for your future bookings, or may be used on the day of treatment.
  • Holding Deposits: If no more future appointment is made within three years from the date of your last appointment, any booking deposit you chose to keep on your account after cancelling or not rescheduling will be converted into a voucher, and will expire after three years from the original cancellation date.

Cancellation Notice

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation. This allows us to offer the appointment time to other clients.

  • More than 24 Hours’ Notice: If you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours before the scheduled time, you can request a full refund of your booking deposit, or you may choose to keep the deposit on your account for future appointments.
  • Less than 24 Hours’ Notice or No Show: If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or fail to attend, 100% of your (50%) booking deposit will be forfeited. This policy helps us manage our schedule and accommodate other clients.
  • Not wanting full treatment booked in: If you book for a larger appointment, please give us at least 24 business hours’ notice if you do not want the entire appointment time.  We kept that time for you and were unable to book another client who may have wanted the time slot, so we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for the service time that you late cancelled.

Refunds

Refunds are provided where required in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Please note refunds are not provided for change of mind. You may be entitled to an exchange or refund of a product or service where it is:

  • faulty; cannot be tampered with prior.
  • substantially unfit for its specified purpose and cannot be remedied within a reasonable timeframe.
  • unsafe or creates an unsafe situation.
  • significantly different from its description/sample.
  • Please keep and provide your proof of purchase for all refunds and exchanges (receipt)
  • Please note that some services or products may not be suitable for everyone. Our staff will exercise all care and skill when providing services; however, it is your responsibility to determine whether a particular service or product is right for you.
  • Please note that there are NO Payment REFUND on completed services. If problems arise due to technician error, they will be accounted for at the earliest available time. (eg. coming in for a touch up spray tan at no extra cost) errors due to improper preparation or aftercare may be charged a fee to correct.

Client Responsibility

Before any treatment or service, clients are required to disclose any personal factors that may affect the treatment or service. This includes completing a consent form, which applies to both new and existing clients. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in an unsuitable service or product being provided, for which we cannot offer a refund.

Credit Card and EFTPOS purchases
We apply a surcharge EQUAL to the amount we get charged by your bank and our bank when you purchase with your card.
